Have you ever heard that working out is only the first step in your wellness and bodybuilding journey? In order to ensure an effective result after each workout session, each individual has to consume an adequate number of calories. As a result, it will be used to balance out or cover the amount that is lost. Still, will everyone know exactly how many calories they lost, how many calories they need to reload, or what to avoid?

Would The Rock Diet Work for Everyone?

For example, who does not know The Rock (Dwayne Johnson), one of the highest-paid actors in 2020 with a glamorous, highly impressive muscular, solid bodybuilding? He once confirmed devouring 5000 – 6000 calories in one meal to maintain the form (RAWDEN, 2020).

Likewise, using The Rock diet as an example to reflect the importance of nutrition may be too much. The fact that each individual only needs to consume 2000 – 3000 calories per day (male), and 1600 – 2400 calories per day (female) (Calculator.net, 2021). Each person has different body builds and desires therefore it can be challenging for one standard guide on nutrition across the gym. It would be best if each person can get their own diet or meal plan that can tighten to their schedule and goals.

For instance, James needs to gain weight for a martial art lesson, so he wants a meal with equivalent fat and protein.

Put this concern into consideration, PSB Fitness is excited to introduce its first nutrition coaching service that will be exclusively available for all members at an affordable price, with $20 per month. Within this new nutrition coaching service, members will be scheduled with appropriate weekly meal plans that perfectly fit their workout progress.

Meal Plan Coaching

For instance, the nutrition coaches will provide different alternative options on ingredients so members can comfortably switch between their meals with the guarantee of the same calorie rate. Furthermore, nutrition staff will introduce members to different functional products (powder, vitamin, snack) that are available at the gym so they can get exactly what they need. This will then avoid the misuse of any functional products and ensure member’s physical and mental status grows healthily and positively.

PT with Nutrition Coaching at PSB Fitness

Currently, we have 4 nutrition coaches that are available across two locations, which are Mississauga and Brampton. PSB Fitness members can make weekly appointments with one of our nutrition coaches to measure the progress and ask any questions.

**Please notice, the nutrition coaching appointment will include:

  • Examining caloric needs
  • Educating knowledge on ingredients and food components
  • Generating evaluation and suggestion on member’s diet or meal plan
  • Performing body composition testing and dietary assessments.

(Each member is entitled to 2 hours meeting each week and a maximum of 1 hour per day)
